Ed Dubrovsky is joining Cytelligence. Cyber security expert Ed Dubrovsky brings more than 24 years of experience to Cytelligence and its clients, specializing in the information security and technology fields.
As Managing Director of Cyber Breach Response, Ed will manage Cytelligence's cyber security teams assigned to respond to client emergencies, to deal with the growing range of cyber threats such as independent hackers, industrial espionage, organized crime, and state-sponsored threats.

Ed has worked across a broad range of industries including critical infrastructure, banking and finance, insurance, non-profit, e-commerce, telecommunication, retail, manufacturing and engineering.
As a cyber security leader, Ed is deeply immersed in improving the field as an educator and researcher and believes that handled in the right way, information security can both reduce risk and increase competitive advantage for organizations.
In previous roles, Ed led international security consulting practices and advised numerous organizations as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and as trusted adviser to Boards and senior executives alike.
Ed holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in information systems from Athabasca University and an MBA from Schulich Business School at York University. He is CISSP and PMP certified.
On the technical side, Ed is certified as an OSCP, MCSE and holds many other technical certifications with IBM, Palo Alto Networks (CNSE & ACE), RSA Master, and several McAfee/Intel Security SE certifications.
Ed has written articles and regularly speaks at various events about cyber security. Ed has spoken at MISA, BSides, IBM Interconnect, LBX Accelerate, and many other venues on such topics as: vulnerability management; crisis management; risk management; cyber security threat landscape; penetration testing; and governance.
Ed sits on the Cyber Security Advisory Board of York University, and is one of the curriculum developers within the Cyber-security program in the area of network security engineering and vulnerability management. He has been frequently featured in the media as the head instructor for the CS1030 (Security Engineering) and CS1050 (Security Assessment) courses in the program.
Ed also appeared on CTV's The Morning Show, CBC News, various industry and university panels as well as featured on Ryerson University's radio.
